GECA labelling

All Shaw Contract Group products using EcoWorx or EcoLogix with EcoSolution Q fibre have been awarded the Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) eco label.

The Good Environmental Choice Australia eco labelling program is the national product life cycle environmental declaration based on internationally recognized standard setting and assessment methodology.

EcoWorx and EcoLogix Modular Carpet Tile ranges with Eco Solution Q yarn were assessed against the GECA 50-2011 standard – Commercial Modular Tile Carpets.

Similarly, EcoWorx Broadloom and Performance Broadloom Carpet with Eco Solution Q yarn were assessed against the GECA 50 -2011 standard - Polymer and Polymer Rich Broadloom Carpets.

Green Building Council of Australia

Shaw Contract Group is a proud member of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).

Launched in 2002, the GBCA is a national, not-for-profit organisation that is committed to developing a sustainable property industry for Australia by encouraging the adoption of green building practices.

It is supported by both industry and governments across the country.

Its key objectives are to drive the transition of the Australian property industry towards sustainability by promoting green building programs, technologies, design practices and operations.
